Hi I am about to take my NTTA exam next week and have just looked at the above link for the questions...Very helpfull I am stuck on only 1 question ? 2. Which one of the following foot brake efficiency ranges should a properly maintained modern four wheeled car be expected to achieve in an EMERGENCY BRAKING situation on a dry tarmac road ? A = 100% to 105% B = 80% to 85% C = 50% to 55% D = 25% to 30% 3. I have got the book Hillier's Fundamentals of Motor Vehicle Technology 4th ed But i cant find any reference to brake efficiency? I have asked both our mechanics at work and both give different answers?.. One say's answer A the other says C answer C is the legal limit for overall brake efficiency for passing the MOT?.. Can any one give me the right answer? or another Book that has more info Thanks
