At the last Council Meeting the Printer refills were mentioned at about £92 + the addiitonal Tax on top of the ordinary tax, which is paid after every other tax you can pay has been paid I did make mention to VOSA that Cartridge World do refills , and he didn't like that, but I don't like the price of their refills either ;D If a VTS were forced to return to VOSA and Siemens for refills, I would think this would fall under the category or restricted practices, and freedom within the market place to be honest Dave

Somebody once said that if you use compatible cartridges and your printer develops a fault, even if that fault is not caused by the cartridge, you will be charged for a new printer. Just a thought before you go for a re-fill instead of a new cartridge.

Hi to all this is a reply from VOSA about Epson compatible MOT test printer cartridge.
******************************************************************** Hi
VOSA recommends that only Epson branded toner cartridges are used.
Until the Catalogue service is updated additional toner can be ordered direct by calling 0871 222 6714 and making payment with a credit/debit card. This service is run by Epson and offers a high capacity 8000 page toner cartridge at a reduced price of £92.20+VAT including P&P. A label will be included to return your used cartridge for environmentally friendly disposal.
Sites may purchase toner from other sources. However, sites are advised NOT to purchase toner cartridges that are not branded as EPSON OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) as this will invalidate the warranty and maintenance agreement for the printer. If non-OEM toner (not Epson manufactured) is found in a printer on a fault rectification visit for a Printer, the site will be liable for the cost of any resultant engineer visit charges (currently £105.20 per hour or part there-of), replacement printer (currently £120.00) and a replacement high capacity toner cartridge (currently £92.20+VAT including P&P) .
Regards
James MOT Computerisation

Thanks for the support James. Sounds like they got us by the short and curlies doesn't it. Wondering if I can find a cable to fit my old dot matrix printer (ribbons £2.99) I'm sure that prints to VOSA's minimum standards
