Nahhh nowt wrong with that one! Suggest you need a word with whoever does your QC as he is letting you fail items that should be pass and advise.

If that is for real you must send it to Matters of Testing.

Yes it was for real, although quite a while ago. Notice they had fitted a new wheel cylinder! They broke the pipe off so got a "new bit of pipe" off a scrap car. It came in because they could not get a pedal after bleeding. You should have seen the size of the balloon when the pedal was pumped Wally

Can't believe what I'm seeing, looks to me like a Saxo and I'm guessing a "boy racer" one at that, and it looks like they have even elongated the hole in the backplate to get one of the wheel cylinder securing bolt in.

The brake cylinder securing bolt on the RHS also looks as though the hole is elongated as well?
I have seen hydraulic lines repaired like that before, just proves my point that some engineers/mechanics/labours whoever did the repair don't understand the subject in hand.
Anyway I have heard today that the RMIF and the IMI are getting together to sort out the motor trade, so maybe a licence system for professionals is not that far off after all ;D

An MOT on this Fiesta unearthed a weeping, corroded brake pipe. Driver wasn't aware of any problem...
