At the Seminar I attended in January, I think they mentioned: 30 or 40 at the Durham call centre and an additional 10 at the new Scottish call centre.

Have you tried logging back in and trying to enter test results, or re-synching your card ? If the system failed when trying to print vt40, did it fail prior to telling you to put form VT40 into printer or after. If before, just carry out emergency test using previous incident number 6212380 (still in place) and keep testing using that number until your card unlocks or you are able to get through to helpless desk. (THATS WHAT I WOULD DO !!!!!) If after, then test details should be logged on your card so you should be able to log back in and enter test results.
Best of luck DaveH

Spent three hours in total, today and yesterday, trying to have a test removed from the system so that I could log-on.
I *never* want to hear Vivaldi again.

Hi. Since last friday morning, having followed DaveH's tip about clearing my NT's card the system has been working OK for us, myself and my NT have bothbeen able to log on, conduct tests and enter results without much delay, the computer sometimes has to dial out twice if it cant find a docking port on the mother ship (on that screen that boldly tells you NOT to remove your smart card whist it is showing) this is probably due to excessive demand at times, we have got used to it and wait patiently. As regards customers having their ET20's rejected, we have not had a single one reported, and we have exchanged about six ET20's for the normal computerised ones, all without a hickup. Scotty must have fixed the engines as we are now flying at warp speed and boldly going were no one has ventured before, if you believe that last statement it will all crash again tomorrow, shucks, me and my big mouth tempting providence !!
Regards Henry.
