Has anyone had False information from Siemens ?
I am a multi lane station with a spare gas analiser, the calibration runs out on the 31 of Aug as the computer keeps telling me, it also says if its not calibrated by the I will be Banned from testing
The company cant come until the 01st Sept, but its only a spare analiser ( I have another 4 ) I spoke to Siemens who said " enter it as if its been calibrated but put the run out date as the 02nd Sept "
This is simply cheating the system that they made ?
and what will my V.E. say ?

this is just another little flaw that they have not thought through , I just had a retest of only a couple of lights and insecure CV Gaiters which needed a couple of ties with no dismantling of the system at all and it wouldn't let me fast track !!. I hope that common sense prevails in your case but I doubt it .

I can't see how you can be banned from testing if you have other valid, calibrated EGA equipment to use.
If the system won't let you test, and you want to do what Siemens told you, make a note of their name and get an incident number.
