heh glad you like it I became a motor mechanic in 94, Registered that domain when I discovered it was available. All comments are very welcome. The site is very new, only took about a day to put together.. There will be a lot more content when I finsh writting it. Main idea behind the site will be to offer a question and answer service. Programing it just now. Mack.

OK now please don't take offence but..... where on earth did you get the information from on your failure page?

I have just had a second look at your MOT-Test.net, and would suggest that you carefully read what you are putting on there, correct some of your mistakes, as a lot of your "information" is incorrect. I have been an MOT tester for over 30 years, and would suggest that if you are going to continue with this website, get your facts straight.

Nice try mate. You have tried to inform people on one of the most complex & misunderstood schemes that is enforced on the citizen of the UK (see even that statement is open to argument).
A little constructive criticism is needed. There are many inaccuracies in the information provided. (If I can spot em there obvious). Its tempting to go live with a website when all the things are in place, but the content is the most important part.
It’s a good idea, but I would remove the site & do some homework & hopefully you will retain some credibility.
Good luck mate.

Hi Mack I would second D H's advise and remove unitil fully checked for errors in information and a few spelling mistakes here and there which would cetainly lessen the authority of the site ,a first suggestion would be to have it scanned by a few people ( proof read ) to iron out anything that you may miss ,and most important some kind of disclaimer !!. best of luck with the project Paul.

Welcome to The MOT Forum, Mack.
Please don't be too put off by the constructive criticism that has been given above.
Judging from your pages, it seems you are not an MOT tester, but a mechanic attempting to simplify the ins & outs of the MOT test for yourself and the general motorist.
The MOT test is a complex routine. Items that are subject to testing on one vehicle may not be on another.
If you haven't already done so, it would be wise to purchase a copy of The MOT Testing Guide to help you understand the complex decisions that we as testers have to face every day.
If you have any queries on any part of the MOT test, you are most welcome to post them here at The MOT Forum.

The site is very new, only took about a day to put together. That long? Seriously though, it's a good idea, but some of the items in the Mock MOT test are incorrect, most of the items in the MOT test failure are just plainly wrong. All comments are very welcome. Just for starters. My God, where the hell did you get this from? We haven't been able to do this for years. Not necessarily. Only for minor items before the end of the next working day. Not if it's done properly it won't.
