Should it fail , I still harp on about Stealth from another forum where he advised testers that horizontal treads don't fail the test and my local senior VE said the trainer said also they were a Pass and Advise , and I pointed out they were not if not stepped , what do you think of this one. If I,m not mistaken that appears to be a Goodyear tyre and personally I, fail that if you look across the way you can see the twi and I,m sure that would also have been in the section of that tyre which is now worn I would discard the edges but that to me is worn within the central 3/4 no arguments.

A lump is a small solid mass area without definate shape , so I probably would not have used that RfR , but the tyre structure has failed internally and the tyre is bulging clearly displaying out of shape at one point, which can be seen by the worn tread section . Dave

To true I always make sure defects are noted like if the tyre is worn but also had a buldge on sidewall or whatever the case may be. :)do it every time.
