Now we're been testing the first half of the new items for a coupe of weeks now, I thought it would be a good idea to get feedback of how the changes have affected the way you enter fail items and advisories. There are bound to be some mistakes and the sooner we can let VOSA know the sooner the changes can be made to the software. If we can get these added for the next update on April 1st we'll at least have less bother when the new c*ck ups (which of course they will ) start appearing. I'll start off with an example I put in another post: You can't fail a split front suspension ball joint dust cover from within the front suspension joints section - you have to go into suspension arms.

I've had some comments about the advisory on discs,
it lists three things, , pitted, worn and scored
Customers don;t seem to realise it's a preset wording, so you advise a disc for being scored, just one deep score where a stone has been sitting, and the customer come back the next day and says you're taking the mick because his mechanic has had a look and there no pitting at all!
