I would have to read the special notice again, and I don't wish to contradict what you say, but I am sure they would say "Could" be void? Dave The actual wording is (underlined by me):- At least the link above does tell some truths that a lot of us suspected:- I can see some penny pinching AE's telling testers not to print out advisories in order to save money on paper and toner cartridges! 5p a sheet adds up over a year (I'll leave working out the actual costings down to the 10th decimal point to Daveg ;D). It all seemed a good idea at the time The one shown by motdave isn't OEM. However, if someone was to purchase a cheap copy and if a printer developed a fault I'm sure there would be a proper Epson one in there when the engineer turned up.... Epson themselves would be able to tell if a non-OEM one had ever been fitted but I bet an engineer wouldn't and by then it would have left the site, etc, etc

Had a couple of high capacity laser cartridges delivered today by a local supplier. He told me that they are already in very short supply, prices are going up soon (surprise surprise) and suggests anyone that hasn't got a spare yet to get one soon.

officially you should order from siemens as they are gaurunteed and no come backs on you the garage - unofficially - get a remanufacturer one cheap and swap it out, then if there is a problem swap the original one back in. I dont condone this process and I dont gauruntee this so do not come to me if there is a problem but it could save your company £100's - maybe enough to buy another one should the worst come to the worst printers are £243.00 found in google shopping search
