The police stopped me the other day and asked for me to produce my insurance, mot documents with in 7 days, however i've lost my MOT certificate! I've been told i can get a reprint at the garage where it was tested, is this true?

I've been told i can get a reprint at the garage where it was tested, is this true? You can obtain a Duplicate at any MOT test station - not necessarily the one that did the original test.

If it was traffic cops they should know if you have a valid MOT & insurance before they even step out of theyre motor. It's all on computer now and checked through car registration & DVLA
