Sorry if anybody is a Kwik fit fitter, but a have had to customers of mine taking their car for a free check over, and the they were told that the car was not safe to drive. The one car was an old lady who had I brake check and was told it need £500 Worth of repairs and it was unsafe to drive. She was a wise one and phoned us up. I told her to tell them thanks a lot and drive away. On inspection, NO fault could be found, which they said need new shocks new pads and discs and an exhaust section. If it did need these parts £500 on a Vauxhall Nova! Why do they try to rip people off, we all have to make money but not rip people off SO £29.95 for an mot, but how much 4 a bulb?

if i was a kwik fit fitter, i'd be ashamed of their series of adverts depicting a 'customer' suddenly finding their brakes are shot & being wary of the local 'rip off indepentants' (implied) getting an instant happy repair in kwi* fit!!! (if i was less charitable, i'd say that they recommended new shocks too) regards yanno
