Hello to all Having re- opened a class 4 mot station that had been closed for 10 months can anyone give advise as to how to build up customers?
We advertise at the moment but are there good internet sites that people search and is an online booking system that customers can book their mot at anytime the way to go? thank you for your help.

I have no experience in these matters, but I would think with more and more people doing as much as possible on line for speed and convenience, the on line booking sounds like a winner

Well a good place to start would be to start up a web site, another way is to find out where the local free paper is and ask them to deliver leaflets along with the free paper, promoting the test station and maybe even doing a leaflet drop yourself or to have a company to do it for you. Put an advertisement in the paper, visit a few of the local businesses in and around the area of your test station to spread the word. As the test station has been in business before then it would of had a customer base.If its possible customers that have been there before may want to know its re-opened,is it possible that these customers can be contacted to let them know its reopened?? The previous owner may have access to its previous customer base, and contact details such as phone numbers is all you need to remind those customers that went there last year that the test is coming up and if they want to return for the test.
