Ok so as far as I know I'm the only female MOT tester for class I & II (motorbikes if you didn't know) in the south so want to keep it going but...I 'lost' my job at the bike shop where I worked and have been trying to keep on top of testing at another station but, no one seems to know if I miss my 'once a month' test what will happen...? Any ideas?...Don't want to loose my NT license but its getting harder to keep it going. And Nitros44 think I qualify don't you?

We don't want you to lose it either There is no Once a month requirement, the requirement is to carryout tests on a regular bases.Once every six months,That is all. You will receive a message 30 days before and 7 days before the cut off point of 6 months period of not testing,if you go over this all you will have to do is a demonstration test, So basically if your testing now,but not many then you are still testing regularly. It will be necessary to keep up to date with special notices as failure to acknowledge them can prevent you from testing. It is the AE responsibility to carryout a QC at least once every 2 months on you,if this is not done then its not your fault. The AE would receive a warning on the VTS device if any QC checks are well over due. And yes you do qualify and welcome to the forum

Nitros,
Do you mean the AE (Authorised Examiner) Not the VE (Vehicle examiner)?

I need to go and do one in the next couple of days but the problem I find is that most of the time they dont have a bike that needs testing...and my bike is layed up at the moment so cant test her Plus with being out of the workshop totally and in a new job it can make things tricky.

and which bike is better to buy if you just start to ride? I like Honda but I don’t know where to start. I ordered an article about such motorcycles in bestresearchpaper.com and it seems to me that this is the right decision. Now I know that this is one of the reliable brands of motorcycles
